Heart Block

Sometimes a heart attack victim who seems to be recovering will experience a sudden slowing or stopping of the heartbeat. This phenomenon may also occur for reasons other than heart attack, but in this setting it usually affects patients in their sixties or older, and is due to an aging process.

Heart block results from a failure of the electrical connection do not reach the main pumping chamber often enough. Normal heart rate can be restored medically, with an electronic pacemaker. In most cases, the heart can then repair itself within a few days, and the natural rhythm returns. When this does not happen, an artificial pacemaker can be implanted can take over the job indefinitely as long as the batteries are changed periodically.

If heart block happen so the blood circulation will difficult to distribute entirely the body. So many problem will occur like the less of nutrition supply and so on. This condition is symptom by the number of heart pulse is less than the normal pulse.
